The Vice Chancellor, Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), Prof Muhammad Kyari commissioned the internal road network at Tukur Buratai Institute for War and Peace (TBIWP).
The Vice Chancellor, who was well received by the Director General of the Institute, Brig Gen A Dadan-Garba (Rtd) and other top officials of the Institute commissioned the road networks linking the various departments, units, and residential area of the Institute. The Vice Chancellor also commissioned vehicles purchased for the use of the Institute. The vehicles consist of a brand-new ambulance, Toyota bus and Volkswagen Golf (Wagon).
Furthermore, in a bid to preserve the historical relevance and memories of some prominent personalities of Biu emirate, the Vice Chancellor unveiled three halls named after some important personalities: Yamtarawala Hall, Yakurku Hall and Mai Mustapha Aliyu Hall.
The Vice Chancellor proceeded to inspect the students’ hostels of the Institute which are still under construction. According to the Project Manager, Surveyor Adamu Dahiru, the project consists of two blocks of student hostels, 120 rooms capacity and a restaurant.
