APPOINTMENTS OF OVERSEER DIRECTOR AND OVERSEER DEAN

This is to inform the University community that the Vice Chancellor, PROF. LAWAN B. BURATAI, has approved two key appointments, effective immediately and pending the appointment of substantive officers:

• Dr. Hammajam Alhaji Abba (Department of Mechanical Engineering) is appointed as Overseer Director, Directorate of Research, Innovation and Development.

• Dr. Abdulsalami M. Deji (Department of History) is appointed as Overseer Dean, Faculty of Arts and Management Sciences.

These appointments are made in recognition of the appointees’ wealth of experience, knowledge, and significant contributions to the University’s development.
The appointment was formally conveyed through a letter with Reference: NAUB/MGT/G1/300/10 dated 20th November 2025, signed by the Deputy Registrar (Establishment) on behalf of the Registrar.

The Vice Chancellor extends his congratulations to the appointees and implores them to deploy their expertise and knowledge for the continued development of their respective directorate, faculty, department, and the University at large.
