NAUB HOSTS 5-DAY ADEPTI TRAINING: DIGITAL SKILLS REVAMP FOR STAFF

The Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) on Monday 15the Sept 2025 hosted a five-day Advanced Digital Employment Programme for Tertiary Institutions (ADEPTI) training for its staff. The programme, sponsored by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), was delivered by the Digital Bridge Institute.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawan Bala Buratai, urged staff to keenly follow the resource persons and acquire the digital skills being imparted. “The analog age is gone; we must adapt to digital advancements to keep pace with global technological developments. NAUB will not be left behind,” Prof. Buratai stated.

The Vice Chancellor expressed appreciation to the organisers and assured them of the university’s support and commitment to providing a conducive working environment for the training.
Representing the Registrar, Brigadier General HY Abdulhamid, the Deputy Registrar Establishment, Mr. Ibrahim Bulama Bukar, encouraged staff to be punctual and attentive throughout the programme.
The Coordinator, Mr. Abdulwahab Mohammed, provided a brief overview of the programme, outlining the rules and ethics governing the training.
The ADEPTI training underscores NAUB’s commitment to enhancing the digital capacities of its staff, aligning with broader efforts to integrate technology into tertiary education in Nigeria.
