NAUB DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT CONDUCTS FIRST SITE INSPECTION

The newly appointed Director of Physical Planning and Development at the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), Col. SB Danjuma (rtd.), conducted his first site inspection following his resumption of office on 8 October 2026.

The inspection covered several ongoing and completed infrastructure projects across the University, including the newly constructed Faculty of Agriculture, Solar Energy Site, and students’ mosque in the hostel area, Student Borehole, Postgraduate Hostel, and NAUB Multipurpose Hall.

During the inspection, the Director charged site engineers to ensure strict compliance with approved architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and contractual requirements. He also emphasised the importance of effective supervision, rigorous quality control, and professional commitment to delivering durable, high-quality infrastructure that meets the University’s standards.

The inspection reflects the Director’s commitment to effective project monitoring, accountability, quality assurance, and the timely completion of infrastructure projects in line with the development objectives of the Nigerian Army University Biu.

Through regular site inspections and close supervision, the Directorate aims to promote adherence to established standards and ensure that infrastructure projects contribute meaningfully to the University’s growth and development.
